Clear Coat for Euro Clear Plus, High Solids 2K Urethane, ECP5000

The Euro Clear Plus, High Solids 2K Urethane Clear Coat ECP5000 is a high-performance clear coat formulated for overall or single-panel repair applications. This ultra-high solids paint offers excellent gloss, flow, and leveling characteristics, while resisting sags, shrinkage, and dieback.

The Euro Clear Plus High Solids Paint is a 50% solids clearcoat that provides a superb finish when ready to spray. Technical data for this product includes:

Mixing Ratio: 2:1 parts ECP5000 to 1 part SH5000. Urethane Reducer is not required, but up to 10% may be added if needed. Recommended Application: 2 coats, with the option to apply additional coats for more durability and a superior shine. Note that adding more coats will extend the dry times listed below.

Dry Times (based on 70°F and 50% Relative Humidity): - Flash Time: 5-10 minutes between the first and second coat. Additional time required between subsequent coats. - Dust Free Time: 15-20 minutes - Tack Time: 2.5 hours - Handle Time: 4 hours - Polish Time: 8 hours - Tape Time: 8 hours - Bake Time: 25 minutes at 140°F - Pot Life: 3 hours

Spray Equipment Cleanup: Clean immediately using Spray Gun Cleaner or Lacquer Thinner.

Safety Requirements: For your protection, wear latex or nitrile gloves, a paint suit, eye protection, and suitable lung protection such as fresh air or a properly filtered respirator.
