U-POL 1 Liter High Solids High Build Urethane Primer Kit With Standard Temperature Hardener
The 1 Liter (Approx. 1 Quart) Primer Kit includes the following items: 1 Liter (1.057 Quart) of U-Pol UP2251 (4.2 VOC) HS High Build Urethane Primer and 250 ml (0.264 Quart) of U-Pol UP2327 Standard Hardener, which together make approximately 1.25 Liters (1.25 Quarts) of sprayable material.
It is important to note that this clearcoat meets the 4.2 National VOC Rule but is not VOC compliant for sale in California and Canada, and therefore will not be sold in either of those regions.
The UP2251 2K HS Primer Filler is a high-solids, 4.2 National VOC Rule-compliant, two-component acrylic urethane coating that can be used in multiple roles:
- As a high-build primer filler for spot repairs, when used at a 4:1 ratio.
- As a primer surfacer for large areas, when used at a 4:1 ratio plus 10% UP2481 or UP2842 reducer.
- As a non-sand (wet-on-wet) sealer, when used at a 4:1 ratio plus 20% UP2481 or UP2842 reducer.
The primer filler offers excellent opacity and hiding power, as well as excellent film build and surface leveling properties. It can be air dried, low baked, or IR cured, and is easy to sand, providing a perfect gloss holdout.
Additionally, the primer filler can be tinted with up to 10% acrylic urethane mixing base.
